Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme
PMEGP is a flagship credit-linked subsidy scheme implemented by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.
The objective of the scheme is to generate sustainable employment opportunities through establishment of micro enterprises in both rural and urban areas while promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
